The State Government is improving road safety on Gippsland roads with more than $3 million.
Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing said the safety upgrades would address a high crash history on Traralgon West Road, Mirboo North-Trafalgar Road, Mt Baw Baw Road, Metung Road, Meeniyan-Mirboo North Road, Boolarra South-Mirboo North Road and Korumburra-Wonthaggi Road.
The improvements will aim to reduce crashes at these sites by up to 35 per cent. Works will include the installation of reflective guide posts, advisory speed signs, curve warning signs and some safety barriers.
Works are expected to begin later this year.
