Prominent Gippsland business identity Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Manthos passed away last week while holidaying in Greece with his wife Caterina.
He was 82 years old.
Mr Manthos was the name behind local business icon Manny’s Markets which he founded in 1982.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, daughters Sandra, Georgina, Rosa and Toula and their families, including 14 grandchildren.
Tributes to Mr Manthos have poured in from across the community following the news of his death.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
