Two men have been arrested following two unrelated incidents at Traralgon on Tuesday.
Police were first called to an address on Blair Athol Drive about 11am following reports of a man inside a house allegedly making threats to harm.
The occupants of the home were safely evacuated before negotiations began to remove the man, who did not reside at the property, police said.
Following negotiations, police said the man exited the property about 15 minutes later and was arrested without incident.
A 35-year-old from Traralgon man was charged with making threats to kill.
He was remanded in custody before facing the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Also on Tuesday, police were called to an address on Campbell Street about 2pm.
Police said the man was allegedly armed and had made threats to harm.
The man was isolated inside the property before police commenced a brief negotiation.
Police said the man surrendered himself and the weapon without incident.
The 41-year-old Traralgon man was charged with multiple offences in relation to making threats and assaults against people.
He also appeared before Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and was remanded until next month.
