Police on hunt for stolen dirt bike

A distinctive custom bike has been stolen from a property at Hazelwood North.

Detectives said the green Kawasaki dirt bike was stolen about 2am on Tuesday, April 24.

The bike is worth about $10,000.

Fence fire

Police are investigating two suspicious fence fires that were deliberately lit at Churchill last month.

Detectives said the fence was set alight on Blackwood Crescent about 1am on Monday, April 23.

About two hours later the fence was again set alight at 3.15am.

The incidents are being treated as a targeted attack.

Police hope drivers of vehicles seen on CCTV footage in the area have seen someone suspicious.

Suspicious Moe fire

Detectives are investigating a house fire on the corner of Wirraway and South Streets at Moe on Tuesday morning.

Police said the house, which was still under construction, was set alight about 2am.

Police said the fire broke out in the bathroom after the front door of the home was kicked in.

The fire is being treated as suspicious.
