Detectives investigate stabbing at LRH

Police are investigating a stabbing at Latrobe Regional Hospital on Thursday.

Detectives alleged a patient assaulted an employee during a kitchen-based activity about 2pm.

The employee suffered a laceration to the back of the head, police said.

The employee was treated at Latrobe Regional Hospital in a non-life threatening condition.

A 35-year-old woman from Traralgon has been remanded in custody and charged with intentionally causing injury.

She is expected to face court later this year.

Freeway road incident

Moe police have appealed for witnesses following a road incident on the Princes Freeway between Yarragon and Trafalgar last month.

On Tuesday, 19 June at 6.30pm police said a ute on two separate occasions attempted to run people off the road in the eastbound lanes.

Police said the incident caused the victim to take evasive action to avoid the collision.

Trailer stolen at Yinnar South

A horse trailer from Yinnar South Pony Club used to carry jumping fence panels has been stolen.

Police said the grey trailer was stolen between June 17 and 23.

The seven-foot tall tandem trailer was parked at the rear of the club.

Investigators said locks to the trailer and fence were cut while the panels had been taken off the trailer and left on the ground.
