More than 100 artworks of various mediums and materials will be on exhibit this weekend as the Morwell Art Group stages its 62nd annual art show.
Morwell Art Group president Ruby Nugent said the artworks on exhibition were put together by all 26 members of the group and would be on sale with mediums varying from landscape, still life, portraits, diamond dots, scratchboard and other forms.
The annual exhibition started in 1957 and has been encouraging people in their 50s and beyond to tap into their artistic side. Ms Nugent said their youngest member was 51 years old and the oldest was 96.
The group meets every Monday from 10am-2pm at the Spiritualist Centre in Morwell.
Ms Nugent said works by Yallourn North award-winning artist Carolyn Henry and realist Bob Pelchen would also be on display during the exhibition.
