A woman has died following a serious collision on the Princes Freeway in Morwell this morning.
Police Victoria said a female pedestrian was struck by a truck travelling east about 10.15am.
No one else was injured as a result of the collision.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner and investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
EARLIER:
The Princes Freeway in Morwell was closed to east-bound traffic earlier today after a serious collision.
Five police units and the SES responded to calls at about 11.15am this morning
Traffic was diverted via the Mirboo North exit through Morwell.
The highway has reopened.
