Fifth arrest made in relation to Jarrad Lovison case

Missing Persons Squad detectives have arrested another man as part of the ongoing investigation into the suspicious disappearance of Jarrad Lovison in April this year.

A 55-year-old Tanjil South man was arrested this morning by detectives and a search warrant was executed at a property on Adam View Court following the man’s arrest.

This follows three arrests made on Wednesday just after 6am by Missing Persons Squad detectives of a 28-year-old man on Tooronga Road, Willow Grove.

A 47-year-old Moe man and a 44-year-old Trafalgar woman at a property in March Street, Newborough were also arrested area as part of the ongoing investigation into the suspicious disappearance of Jarrad Lovison.

On Tuesday, 24-year-old Moe woman, was arrested at a residence on Coalville Road and was charged with one count of murder.

She appeared before the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court and has been remanded in custody to re-appear on January 7.

The charge comes six months after Mr Lovison, 37, disappeared on April 16.
