ONE of Australia’s most popular retail discount store chains is heading to the Latrobe Valley.
Silly Solly’s will open a new store in Traralgon in February 2022.
Silly Solly’s spokesperson Solly Stanton said the company had been eyeing off the region for a lengthy period.
“Traralgon has been on our radar for over a year now and we waited for the right site to come along,” Mr Stanton told The Express.
That site is 72 Seymour Street.
The Traralgon store will become the 34th in the chain for the store which has the motto of selling nothing over $5.
The company has stores throughout Queensland and NSW, and is expanding operations in Victoria, with Traralgon joining the likes of Box Hill and Craigieburn as locations.
“We have revolutionised the discount store industry by bringing consumers this exciting new shopping experience, led by an energetic management team,” Mr Stanton said.
“Silly Solly’s has excelled in a bricks and mortar retail environment of extreme uncertainty. We have built a trusted reputation amongst our customers. 10,000 products nothing over $5 under one roof, making shopping great again.
“With customers saving money and living better. You cannot be all things to all people. We know our customers and give them what they want at the price they want to pay.”
