Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Willung South on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to reports that a motorcycle had crashed into the scrub on the Hyland Highway, near the intersection with Grand Ridge Road at about 12.20pm.
Sadly, the motorcyclist, a 47-year-old Willung South man, was found dead at the scene.
Police said he was travelling in the easterly direction, and it is understood no other vehicles were involved.
The exact circumstances around the incident are yet to be determined.
