Early voting started today for the 2022 Victorian State election, with two pre-polling stations open in the seat of Morwell.

Voters can now cast their ballot papers at 34 Princes Drive, Morwell, or 29 Princes Street, Traralgon.

There are 12 candidates on the Morwell District ballot paper.

The Victorian Electoral Commission urged anyone planning to vote early today to check the online voting centre locator before they head off.

Election day is on Saturday, November 26.

Some Melbourne metro pre-polling booths will not open until midday due to printing delays and wet weather, but this will not affect other districts.

The VEC voting centre locator can be found at maps.vec.vic.gov.au/elections, or by phoning 131 832.
