POLICE are at the scene of a collision in Kilmany on February 11.
Officers were told a trailer carrying an excavator, being towed by a truck on Princes Highway, was struck by an oncoming passenger V/Line train about 10.10am.
Both drivers and up to 50 passengers onboard where either uninjured or sustained minor injuries. Paramedics assessed five people on the scene. No one was hospitalised.
A CFA spokesperson says crews found fuel leaking upon arrival, as well as a person trapped in the wreck. The person is no longer trapped.
The cause of the collision is yet to be determined and an investigation remains ongoing.
Coaches are currently replacing trains between Traralgon and Bairnsdale due to the incident.
