A program aimed at developing leadership within junior sport will be launched on Wednesday at Morwell Football Club’s Keegan street social rooms.
‘Captains Camp’ aims to help under-15 and under-16s nurture leadership qualities both within and outside of their sporting clubs through a series of three residential camps in school holidays between April and September.
The program will also look to engage senior players and club members as community mentors.
Essendon player and 2013 leadership team member Dyson Heppell will be a guest speaker on the night along with AFL Victoria Country manager Leon Harris.
