Local flavour for Pegasus

LUKE Cheney will take over as Morwell Pegasus State League South-East division two head coach in 2014, replacing the departing Dale White.
The club indicated utilising local talent would be a focal point under the former Churchill Rams star, as it looks to relocate from its midweek Pakenham base back to Morwell.
Cheney led Churchill to Gippsland Soccer League glory before taking over as Pegasus’ state league reserves coach last year, which finished bottom of the table.
The club looks set to lose its Melbourne-based stars, including strike trio Jamie Prictor, Max Etheridge and Marquin Smith.
White has accepted the head coach position at rival state league side Mornington.
