YARRAM put neighbouring Woodside to the sword on Good Friday to open the North Gippsland Football Netball League season.
The Demons shone on the religious holiday, kicking 20.23 (143) to 8.10 (58) at home.
Justin Staley started the season in style with a bag of seven, while Corbin Sutherland booted five.
It was a clean sweep for Yarram across the grades with wins in reserves and thirds.
Woodside had the better of it in the netball stakes, winning A, B and C grade.
