THE Gippsland League will recognise its best and brightest young players, with the introduction of the Rookie of the Year Award.
The new award will seek to acknowledge some of the league’s up-and-coming football and netball stars.
Monthly nominees will receive a one-on-one coaching session with Gippsland Power TAC Cup coach Leigh Brown or a specialised netball coach.
Overall Rookie of the Year will be crowned at the end of season presentation dinner and receive an exclusive AFL or netball experience.
