GIPPSLAND Pride is set to contest the Victorian Country Cricket League under 21 state final against Barwon after winning its second round match against Northern Rivers in Churchill at the weekend.
Opening batsman Mitch Membrey made a half-century to send the Pride en route to its total of 258, supplemented by Bohdi Walker and Tom Wyatt, and Northern was unable to chase it down.
The victory followed success in round one over North East Country.
The final is set to be played on 13 December.
