Woodside and Rosedale are the only two undefeated teams after round six of the North Gippsland Football Netball League A grade netball competition.
The Blues hung on to defeat Churchill by four goals, 47 to 43, while Woodside had a more convincing win over Sale City, winning by 16 goals, 49 to 33.
The results put the Cats and the Blues two games clear of their nearest rivals, Glengarry, which sits in third place after being defeated by Heyfield, 60 goals to 54, with Churchill and Sale City rounding out the top five.
The lower four sides played one another on Saturday, with Yarram notching up its first win of the season over Traralgon Tyers United, 47 goals to 33.
At Gormandale the Tigers also broke through for their first win 46-40 over Cowwarr.
