GIPPSLAND LEAGUE
TWO of the competition big guns are set for a shootout at Morwell Recreation Reserve today.
Undefeated Traralgon tackles third placed Morwell with the Tigers looking to draw level at the top in the Gippsland League’s A grade netball Queen’s Birthday match.
A Tigers triumph would put them on level pegging with Traralgon and Drouin on 32 competition points, after the Hawks knocked off Leongatha by 24 points on Saturday.
The reigning premier Maroons have a shot at retaining their one game buffer heading into the second half of the fixture.
Saturday’s round nine matches were all won by comfortable margins by the higher placed team.
Moe beat Sale by 44 goals, Maffra defeated Warragul 43-30 and Wonthaggi earned a 15 goal win on the long road to Bairnsdale.
