Drouin perched on top

DROUIN remains top of the Gippsland League A grade netball ladder after knocking off fellow premiership contender Morwell.

The third-placed Tigers gave the Hawks a challenge on home soil, but eventually succumbed 37-50.

Morwell leads fourth-placed Moe by less than one per cent on differential after the Lions defeated Maffra by 17 goals.

Traralgon remains second, one game adrift of Drouin, and posted a high scoring 69-55 win over Wonthaggi.

The top four have formed a big gap on the field, with Leongatha (fifth) and Wonthaggi (sixth) 14 points in arrears and fighting for the last finals spot.
