Steady as it goes

Latrobe Valley motorists have experienced little relief at the pump, as fuel prices remain steady.

For the seven-day period ending Tuesday, motorists paid an average of 117.7 cents per litre in the region.

Traralgon drivers were slugged on average 119 cents per litre, Morwell residents 115.6 cents and Moe 118.5 cents per litre.

Across regional Victoria, the highest fuel average price was recorded at Corryong with 120.9 cents per litre, while Yarrawonga drivers experienced the lowest recorded average of 101.8 cents.

Metropolitan Melbourne averaged of 111.5 cents per litre for the week.
