Batting first, the Sharks were in early trouble when Lee Stockdale and James Pryde were both back in the pavilion with the score at 2/5.
However, they were able to consolidate their position and batted out 44 overs to make 165.
Matt Robertson was the star for the Sharks with 34, followed closely by Jordy Gilmore (31).

MTY Raiders turned what was expected to be a close match against Glengarry into a landslide victory.
Magpies captain Sam Marks was made to regret his decision to bowl first as Raiders amassed an impressive 6/219 off their overs to put themselves in a dominant position.

The addition of 37 extras to the total did not help Glengarry’s cause.
In response, the Magpies found themselves in early trouble and were soon on the precipice with the score at 7/46.
New coach Adam Brady, batting at nine, was the only Magpies player to reach double figures with 18.
Ross Whelpdale was the stand-out Raiders bowler with 3/16.
Churchill v Rovers
After winning the toss, Churchill skipper John Keighran had no hesitation batting first on a superb wicket at George Cain Oval Rovers on Saturday.
The Cobras were soon off to a flier, following an opening stand of 47 between Chris Williams (19) and English recruit Andy Shepherd (25).
Keighran then took centre stage and batted brilliantly to smash 66.

Rovers started their chase well, reaching 2/95 before Simon Duff went for 34.
The required run rate soon ballooned to eight an over before the Rovers batsmen began finding the boundary.
Ewan Williams was superb, holding the innings together with a well-made 41.

Toongabbie sent Centrals into bat first and after a good start of 37 Brenton Ould was dismissed for 18.
The huge wicket of Mark Rawson was next when he was out LBW for four.

Tim Dunn was best for the Rams with 3/25.

Traralgon West v Imperials
Batting first Traralgon West was in trouble early at 5/36.
New player Mathew Kirkham showed lots of fight with 61 runs to get the score to 118.
Nick Scammell 2/19, Matt Hibbs 3/34 and Nat Campbell 3/38 were the stars with the ball for Imperials.
In reply, Imperials were never in any danger, reaching the target one wicket down – finishing on 1/119 off 32 overs.
