Maffra and District Car Club will hold round five of the Boisdale Hillclimb Series this Saturday afternoon and evening.
In an action-packed round four, the fastest driver at was Kerran Pridmore in his Subaru WRX with an impressive time of 57.97 seconds.
Less than a second behind him was club champion Matt Muir in his buggy with a time of 58.98, closely followed by junior driver Ryan Austin, in a Subaru, with a best time of 59.95 seconds.
With the upcoming race meeting being part of the statewide Autocross Championship Series, entrants are expected from not only across Gippsland but from all over Victoria to gain points for a chance to win the series at the end of the year.
Racing will commence at the Boisdale Hillclimb Track at 1.00pm with free entry to all spectators at the long-track event.
Located at 239 Boisdale/Newry Road, Boisdale, a kiosk will provide refreshments throughout the race and a playground will keep the children amused.
