A driver has been fined after his truck became wedged under the rail underpass near Shakespeare Street in Traralgon at about 11am on Wednesday.
The driver was issued an infringement notice by police for failing to obey road clearance and fined $739.
Traffic diversions were put in place for a few hours and south-bound lanes heading from the highway onto Bank Street were closed while police and V/Line staff worked to remove the truck from the underpass.
The front tyres of the truck were deflated and it was pulled from the bypass backwards.
