A person who stole a ute and more than $4000 worth of tools from a car park at Mid Valley Shopping Centre last month is yet to be found.
Police this week appealed to the public to help find the crooks who stole the ute on September 30 between 7pm and 9pm while the owner was inside Village Cinemas.
It is unclear how the thieves broke into the vehicle, however, it was found a day later dumped on McColls Track near Murray Road at Yallourn North.
People with information about the Toyota Hilux, which had a large tool box on the back, are urged to phone Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit on 5131 5000 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
