Detectives are investigating an alleged carjacking on Bridle Road, Morwell on Sunday night.
Police said the incident took place about 7.45pm when a group of young people allegedly forced a man from his car using a weapon.
About an hour later, the car was involved in a collision at the railway crossing on Lloyd Street, Moe where three people under the age of 16, who were allegedly in the car, were arrested.
Police were yet to charge anyone in relation to the incident at the time of publication.
Arson investigators to called house fire
Arson investigators will visit a house on Alamein Street, Morwell today following a suspicious kitchen fire last night.
Police said firefighters were called to the vacant property about 6.50pm on Sunday where the rear door to the property was found open.
