Major developments have commenced at Village Cinemas in Morwell with a multi-million-dollar facelift, aligned to the Mid Valley Shopping Centre refurbishment.
Having commenced in early September, the redevelopment includes a new entrance, featuring a lounge area and candy bar.
There will also be premium seating with added leg room, which will allow moviegoers to lay back and relax.
“The magic of movies plays such an important part in all of our memories – we are looking forward to being able to elevate this experience for the wider Morwell community,” Village Entertainment marketing general manager Nic Robin said. “By creating a first-class space as soon as our guests step in the door, right through to the cinematic experience, it’s a privilege to enable cherished moments for our movie lovers.”
Mid Valley Shopping Centre manager Sjaala Harbridge echoed excitement for the local community, saying she was excited to be a part of a fantastic new offering.
“We can’t wait to showcase the finished product to our loyal customers, who we are sure will be thrilled with the upgrade to all aspects of the centre,” Ms Harbridge said.
Completion is expected in time for summer.
