Goats shot
VICTORIA Police is investigating the shooting of four Boer goats at Flynns Creek, believed to have occurred on the 9 or 10 February.
According to Rosedale Police, the quiet domestic livestock with conspicuous ear tags were in a pine plantation and close to the owner’s property.
The shooting follows a similar incident in the same area in January 2012.

Rock throwing
A CAR yard in Narracan Drive, Moe was the target of at least two men between 6pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday.
According to police, the men had picked up rocks and thrown them at cars in the car yard, breaking windows and damaging panels of at least eight vehicles.
Investigators said CCTV footage show one of the offenders wearing a light-coloured shirt and shorts, while the second offender was wearing a light shirt and dark pants.

Serious assault
A TRARALGON man is in serious but stable condition after he was found unconscious following an assault resulting in multiple facial fractures.
The 29 year-old man was allegedly hit several times with a blunt instrument about 1pm on Saturday by another man at his home in Blair Athol Drive.
Police investigators believe the men may have been known to each other.
The victim was found several hours later by a friend and taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital.
He was later taken to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne where he was being treated for multiple facial fractures.
Bottle shop thefts
THE liquor store at the Top Pub in Morwell was the target of two shop theft incidents last Tuesday.
In the first incident about 12.20pm, a man allegedly took a bottle of bourbon without paying for it.
In the second incident about 8.50pm, two men allegedly conspired to take a bottle of vodka without paying.
The shop’s CCTV footage show the three men were described as being dark-skinned.
Tools stolen
BRICKLAYERS tools valued about $4000 were stolen from an address in Kenilworth Drive, Traralgon, overnight on Tuesday.
According to Victoria Police, unknown offenders had allegedly forced open the door of a property under construction and cut the chains used to secure a toolbox containing a quantity of tools.
