A FORMER Boost Juice employee was one of two women nabbed by police for allegedly stealing cash from the chain’s Traralgon store.
Traralgon Police Station’s Sergeant Paul Stow said a 21 year-old woman and 19 year-old woman, both from Traralgon, entered the Stockland Plaza about 6pm on Tuesday 7 May and went to an unattended Donut King in the shopping centre’s food court.
Sgt Stow said the pair had also accessed keys to the Boost Juice safe, from which they allegedly took money.
He said police identified the women using Closed Circuit Television images and that night searched their home where they recovered some of the stolen money and discovered a small quantity of the methamphetamine known as ‘ice’.
The 21 year-old was charged with burglary, theft and possessing a drug of dependence, while the 19 year-old was released on summons.
Graffiti attacks
A train carriage was targeted in a graffiti attack late last month at the Traralgon station siding.
While the event is believed to have occurred between 6pm and 8.30pm on 27 April, the offenders are unknown to police, who are seeking witnesses to the event.
In Moe a graffiti tag has surfaced in two recent occasions, with the letter ‘AB’ placed on school and business property.
School murals at Albert Street Primary were targeted overnight on 29 April, while the MECU building on Moore Street was tagged overnight on 25 April.

Hoons activity
Police are appealing for witnesses for fresh reports of hoon driving behaviour in Morwell, after burnouts allegedly occurred at the Savige and Evans Street intersection.
Ryan’s Hotel assault
Police wish to speak with a man regarding an assault at Ryan’s Hotel in Traralgon on 23 March.
The man is described as a having a solid build, and was wearing a red baseball cap and a t-shirt with the number ’86’ on the back.
Missing mower
A lawn mower was stolen from the United Church Op Shop in Morwell on 6 May.
Unknown offenders forced entry into a shed located at the rear of the Princes Drive business, before taking the new lawn mower, while leaving behind other gardening implements.

Tyers theft
Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in relation to a theft from the Tyers Service Station and Store on 10 March.
A man described as being in his early 20s with black hair, a moustache and wearing a black hoodie with tracksuit pants, allegedly stole alcohol from the store before leaving in a red sedan.

Commodore stolen
Police are seeking information regarding a large-scale theft from a Traraglon property last month,
A silver Holden Commodore sedan, registration REC851, was among the property stolen, along with power and non-powered tools, a ride-on mower and a push mower.
Police believe a utility or trailer was used to transport the stolen goods from the Mahogany Drive property.
Appeal for witnesses
Police are appealing for witnesses to a theft incident at Coles Supermarket in Morwell last Monday.
The man allegedly threatened a Coles Loss Prevention Officer after he was approached about the incident, about 11.45pm.
Women charged
Two women have been charged over numerous shoplifting incidents at various stores across the Latrobe Valley.
The women, who were stealing the items to sell, have been charged with 12 thefts between them, and remanded to appear in court at a later date.
