Three people were arrested when police located 755 cannabis plants at two Morwell residences on Thursday.
Morwell police Sergeant Gary Vest said police executed search warrants on three houses, uncovering what police believe is a syndicate, after three months of investigation.
Sgt Vest said two men were arrested at a Watt Street residence where police seized 494 cannabis plants, which were growing in a hydroponic set-up powered by a “dangerous” electrical bypass system.
He said police then found 261 plants at a vacant Hoyle Street residence, before arresting a woman at a property in Winston Court.
He said the three people have been charged with several offences including cultivate commercial quantity of cannabis.
They have been remanded to appear in Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court today.
