A 32 year-old Traralgon man and a 30 year-old Traralgon man are assisting police with inquiries after they were both assaulted on Monday evening.
Latrobe Criminal Investigation Unit sergeant Ian Walk said police were called to a Traralgon boarding house about 10pm after both men were assaulted with weapons.
According to police, the men were conveyed to Latrobe Regional Hospital where they received medical treatment and were later released from hospital.
