“It’s a really fun night and it brings together a lot of community groups,” Mr Farley said.

The Traralgon Apex community bonfire and fireworks funfair will take place on Saturday at the Traralgon Showgrounds, Whittakers Road, with the main event kicking off at 4pm.

The bonfire will be lit at 8.30pm while the fireworks display is scheduled for 9pm.
