The Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry board has requested

The Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry board has requested an extension to the delivery date for the fourth volume of its 2015/16 report, which was scheduled for release tomorrow.

The extension has been requested due to Board member Anita Roper’s recent medical condition.

The Board is hopeful it will receive a new delivery date from the State Government shortly.

“Anita’s health has been of great importance to us. We are pleased to say she is recovering well and we continue to wish her all the best,” Board chair Justice Bernard Teague said.

“We understand that the community is eager to see the final volume of our report, but we hope they understand that Anita’s health is also a priority.”
