It was impossible not to learn about Australia’s war history at Morwell Primary School last week as images and stories lined the school’s Maryvale Road wall.
School community links coordinator Merle Williamson said the annual display occurred so students could learn and understand the important part of history.
“It’s fantastic for the children to get involved in decorating the school and learning at the same time,” Mrs Williamson said.
This year the school decorated the entire wall as a special farewell to its current site before relocating to a new home on McDonald Street.
