Allan’s treasured service honoured

Moe Ambulance Auxiliary recently recognised member Allan Treadwell for 30 years of service.

Auxiliary president Kay Anderson said the 80 year-old deserved to be recognised for “his tireless years of service, attending our bi-monthly meetings and always (being the) first to offer his services for our many sausage sizzles and barbecues we have on a regular basis”.

Ms Kay said Allan had been sick the past few years, but was still an active member of the ambulance auxiliary.

“This is to be commended, as many others would not (have) bothered,” she said.

“Allan is our treasurer and has been in this role for many years and does a great job.”
