A 19 year-old Mount Waverly man has been charged after a traffic incident in Churchill at the weekend.
Police were called to Federation University following reports of a suspicious vehicle in a car park on Saturday night.
The man was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop at police direction, dangerous driving, wilful damage and driving while disqualified.
Man dies in collision
A 36 year-old Glengarry man has died after his car collided with a tree on Friday night.
Police said the car was travelling along Traralgon-Maffra Road when it left the road about 11.50pm.
The driver, the single occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Yallourn North car fire
A car fire in Yallourn North on Saturday morning is being treated as suspicious.
Police said a 1997 Ford Falcon was found smouldering by a passer by about 5.30am.
It’s alleged the car had been set alight sometime before its discovery.

Stolen car
Traralgon police are calling for witnesses after an early model Toyota sedan was stolen from a residential address on Taylor Crescent in Traralgon on the morning of Tuesday 16 May.
Police said the owner of the vehicle woke to hear the vehicle driving off about 2am.
The registration of the 1988 car is TBQ 339.
