Two Morwell men have been charged after an alleged armed robbery at a service station in Morwell on Sunday, 11 June.
Police allege two men arrived at the Princes Drive store about 2.50am when one man entered the store and allegedly demanded money.
The request was declined by the staff member, who called police, as the two men left on foot east along Princes Drive.
Two men, a 50 year-old and 25 year-old, both from Morwell, were arrested on Tuesday and remanded in custody overnight.
The 50 year-old man was remanded until Wednesday, 21 June when he will face the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court.
The 25 year-old was remanded until Friday when he will face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
Car fire at Moe
Latrobe Valley police are investigating a car fire at Moe on Tuesday 13, June about 7.35pm.
The silver Nissan Pulsar was parked on Mountain Glen Drive for more than a week before it was allegedly set alight on Tuesday night.
CFA units from Moe, Newborough and Trafalgar attended and extinguished the fire which left the vehicle gutted, police said.
Members from Trafalgar police attended and police are continuing to investigate.

Warrant executed in Churchill
Detectives from the Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit Active Crime Task Force recently executed a warrant at a Churchill property as a result of information received in relation to burglaries in the area.
As a result, two Churchill men aged 22 and 24 as well as a 48 year-old man were charged with various burglary offences resulting in various items such as generators and go cart parts allegedly being recovered.
Two of the men were also charged with drug and weapons offences.
Intercept leads to charge
A vehicle allegedly displaying stolen plates was intercepted by police on Vestan Drive, Morwell about midnight on Monday, 12 June.
Police searched the vehicle and allegedly uncovered cannabis.
Further searches of the driver and passengers allegedly located other drug paraphernalia, drugs and a weapon.
A 28 year-old Morwell woman and a 26 year-old Drouin woman were charged and bailed to appear before Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court later this year.
Bin fire plea
Detectives are still looking for witnesses after a wheelie bin was set alight inside Lowanna Secondary College next to a school building on Monday, 29 May about 8.30pm.
Police allege waste inside the bin was lit, causing it to engulf in flames.
