TRARALGON’S Luke Hornstra was named Latrobe Valley Baseball A grade best and fairest at the season awards night recently.
The B grade best and fairest went to Traralgon’s Brad Pratt and the C grade accolade was awarded to Morwell’s Kym Mayberry.
Junior state representative and Traralgon Redsox pitcher Blake Townsend earned the honour in the under 16 grade, while the under 13 best and fairest went to Brendan Laird from Sale.
Life membership was awarded to Greg Howard for many years of service to the Latrobe Valley Baseball Association.
Howard is the director of umpiring and has held this role since the early 1990s.
