CAPTAINS Camp is a Gippsland based not-for-profit project which aims to help junior athletes realise their potential as role models and drivers of positive culture in their clubs and community.

The Game Changers Australia initiative was launched in 2012 by Leongatha’s Jamin Heppell, brother of Essendon star Dyson Heppell, and is close to wrapping up its second six-month program.

The program identifies leaders at the under 15 and 17 levels to take part in a series of camps to foster and develop leadership and social conscience.

The organisation also runs a female youth leadership program.
