THE North Gippsland Football Netball 2015 season will kick off with a Woodside versus Yarram derby on Easter Friday.
A split opening round will see the remainder of matches played the following week, with the grand final replay between Churchill and Heyfield to be played under lights on 11 April.
Another feature of the fixture is twin twilight matches on Anzac Day – Churchill versus Sale City and Rosedale up against Traralgon Tyers United.
Gaskin Park’s recently upgraded lighting will again be utilised in round five in a Cougars night match against TTU on 9 May.
Boisdale Briagolong’s departure means the league will return to 10 teams, eliminating the need for a bye.
The NGFNL grand final is scheduled for 19 September, in between Mid Gippsland on 12 September and the Gippsland League on 26 September.
