REIGNING Mid Gippsland A grade netball premier Mirboo North will need to play off again next week for a chance to defend the title, after going down to Boolarra in the qualifying final at Newborough on Saturday.
The Tigers were bettered by just two points, marking their first loss for season 2015, as the Demons secured passage to the grand final.
Newborough ended Morwell East’s season yesterday in the elimination final at Yinnar, winning 40-32, and will face Mirboo North this week for the other spot in the decider.
