The passion for smashin’

Star local wrestler Andy Rhodes has recovered from injury and will be fit in time to take part in Gippsland Pro Wrestling’s fourth and biggest show for 2015.

Rhodes, along with Traralgon’s Benny Factor, will join a host of other big names from across Victoria and interstate, when GPW presents “Passion” on Saturday, 28 November.

Rosedale’s Rhodes is set to renew hostilities with star bad boy Tommy Hellfire, while Factor will have his hands full trying to combat the giant New Zealand warrior Slade Mercer, who is returning to GPW after making his presence felt in matches across his homeland.

Benny’s tag team partner Syd Parker will also appear, this time in a three-way competition for the GPW Heavyweight Championship.

The triple threat contest will pit Judd Newman and Parker up against the current champion, JC Taylor.

Taylor and Newman have battled before with Taylor always coming out on top, but the addition of Parker will force the champ to adapt on the fly.

GPW’s “Passion” will be held at the Grey Stret Primary School Traralgon on Saturday, 28 November.

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm, with tickets for sale at the door.
