All levels of the LVDCL competition were severely affected by rain over the weekend with only one match across Premier A Grade and A Grade seeing a ball bowled.
That match was between Jeeralang-Boolarra and Yallourn North and it required a switch of venue with it moving from W.H Burrage Reserve to McGregor Reserve. The Panthers sent the Bombers into bat and dominated with the ball, bowling Yallourn all out for 82. Chris Sotiropoulos top scored with 17 while Brad Wright was the star with bowler taking 5/15.
Unfortunately for Wright and his Panthers teammates, rain forced the match to be abandoned before the side had a chance to reply.
Apart from forfeits, the only result of the weekend came in C Grade with St Vincents knocking over Newborough Red. Zayne Dowdell and Dylan Smith both took four wickets for St Vincents.
