MORWELL product Ben Ainsworth will remain with Gold Coast Suns until the end of 2024.
The 24-year-old inked a new deal recently, which will take him to free agency.
Ainsworth has played 81 games with the Suns since debuting in 2017.
“We’ve come a long way as a club in my six seasons and I want to ensure I continue to help lead us into the next part of our journey,” he said.
“I know this group is committed to … bringing success to the Gold Coast.”
Ainsworth’s football prowess was evident from an early age.
He played senior football with Morwell as a 15-year-old and made 11 senior appearances for the Tigers in their premiership year of 2013.
