A BOMB threat in a residential driveway on Tuesday is being investigated by Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit detectives.
Police have been told a woman came out to her vehicle in the morning and observed a package taped to it.
She notified police who examined the suspicious package. Residents from the address and nearby houses were evacuated for safety and the Bomb Response Unit attended and detonated the device at the scene with no issues.

Eastern Region police honoured
More than 400 years of policing experience was honoured during a medal presentation to Eastern Region police at the Moe RSL on Tuesday night.
Four police officers and four paramedics received Divisional Commendations in relation to an incident in Yarragon last year. Three police officers were also honoured for their contribution to G20 in Brisbane in 2014.
Twenty-three police officers received service medals ranging from the Victoria Police 10 Year Service Medal through to the 45 Year Service Medal.
The awards were be presented by Eastern Region Assistant Commissioner Rick Nugent with a number of local dignitaries present.
Sergeant Roy Moore, Senior Constable Kevin Scouller, Senior Constable Paula Fowler and Senior Constable Brian Dalrymple received Divisional Commendations after a 20 year-old man sustained serious injuries during a firearms incident in Yarragon on 9 November, 2016.
Four paramedics also received a commendation for their contribution during the same incident.
Car impounded
Members of the Latrobe Highway Patrol recently impounded a vehicle after an 18 year-old red P-plate driver was caught allegedly doing 148 kilometres per hour in a 110km zone.
The speed was detected on the Princes Freeway, Hernes Oak at 10.13am on Saturday, 4 February.
The vehicle has been impounded for 30 days, with an impound fee of $1134.
The driver was charged with speeding.
Grassfire at Hazelwood North
Churchill Police are investigating a grass fire which occurred about 11.15am on Sunday, 5 February.
Police have been told a passer-by noticed the grass fire at the Hazelwood Road property and notified CFA who attended with about 10 units and extinguished the fire.
Police assisted with traffic direction until it was extinguished.
Latrobe Crime Investigations unit detectives are investigating due to possible suspicions in relation to how the fire started.
