The fugitive thought to possibly be hiding out in the Latrobe Valley has been arrested at an address in Broadmeadows.
Detectives from the Fugitive Taskforce arrested Wayne Leslie Norris about 10.30am today without incident and have thanked the community for its assistance.
The 30 year-old was convicted of manslaughter, aggravated burglary and theft of a motor vehicle in 2006 following the death of Lee Bridge in Warragul in 2005.
Police launched a statewide manhunt last week after Norris broke parole conditions.
