Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a pedestrian in Tanjil South yesterday on Becks Bridge Road about 6.30am.
A man is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police believe a 26 year-old Tanjil South man was struck by a vehicle as he was returning home.
The vehicle subsequently left the scene and the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
