Federation University will welcome prospective students and their families to its Ballarat and Gippsland campuses for the 2016 Open Day on Sunday, 28 August.
There will also be an open day for the new Berwick campus on Wednesday, 17 August.
The Gippsland campus in Churchill will be open from 10am to 3pm.
Visitors will be able to explore a wide range of programs at each campus.
Prospective students will be able to meet and speak with staff and current students, attend program information sessions, collect detailed course and student services and support information; explore facilities and accommodation, and find out how to apply for courses.
“You will find university staff and student ambassadors at hand who will readily help with any questions or wishes you may have,” Vice Chancellor David Battersby said.
In Gippsland there will be visual art and design galleries and demonstrations, media power (design and advertisement), criminal justice, education classroom activities, nursing skills survivor challenge, outdoor and environmental educations activities; and business skills activities.
The Mt Helen Campus will offer a ‘Try A Trade Alley’ where visitors can try their hand at a range of trade programs.
Other activities at the Mt Helen and Camp St campuses include a race car simulator, canoeing, rock climbing, V02 max testing, biomechanics and fitness testing, interactive video skills analysis and visual and performing arts demonstrations.
