Detectives have arrested and charged a 37-year-old man after a 22-month old girl sustained life-threatening injuries in Traralgon last month.
The man was arrested and charged with intentionally causing serious injury and breaching a court order by Central Gippsland Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Unit detectives at a Traralgon property this morning.
He is set to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
The charges follow an investigation into an alleged serious assault, after the toddler appeared at a local hospital on November 12.
