Shirley Skinner and her rink of Foss Harford, Judy Tumney and John Osborne won 23-10 over Maureen Leighton and her team of Ruth Waring, John Leighton and Les Firth.
Sheryl Atkinson and her Drouin rink of Elaine Thorpe, Arthur Moore and Mark Atkinson had a 20-19 win over Rita Reddiex and her rink of Bill Tumney, Kerry Wright and Russell Williams.

Debbie Kennedy and her team of Josh Kennedy, Barry Daley and Fran Clark defeated Margaret Gibbins and her rink of Adriana Eaton, Max Gibbins and Jeff Blythman 28-15.
Jo-Anne Michaels and her team of John Arnold, Mary Whelan and Nosha Michaels won 16-14 over Elaine Muir and her rink of Titch Hore, Margaret Morley and Max Aumann.

WARRAGUL reversed their early season loss to Morwell Club with an impressive win at home.
Janette Gallasch and her rink of Matt Draisma, Elsie Hefford and Peter Gallasch had a 34-12 win over Beryl Noblett and her team of Iyoko Yoshimura, Michael Skinner and Sue Karleusa.
Pat Hammond and her rink of Alison Matthews and Graeme Davis won 20-17 over Tess Borg and her rink of Roger Rejmer, Jo Leslie and Bernie Kirkup.
Jan Karleusa and her team of Dashaa Martin, Bernie Marino and Gail Rejmer were the only winning Morwell Club team, winning 22-20 over Linda McCoy and her rink of Kerri and Bob Currie together with Andrew Glover.

TRARALGON visited Trafalgar and Paddy Francis and her rink of William Francis, Lyn Moffat and Barry Fernance won 22-17 over Sue Robinson and her rink of Barbara Evans, Tim Anderson and Paul Dawson.
Pat Trewin and her rink of Garry Trewin, Bill Kirby and Matthew Higgins won 24-10 over Helen Robertson and her team of Carol Saunders, Mary Holdwsorth and Ken Capper.
The lone Trafalgar winning rink was Heather Taylor and her rink of Pat Tatterson, Ian Miles and Tim Fraser who defeated Kathy Smiles and her rink of Matt Ogilvie, Chris Thomas and Rosie Lorenz 22-13.

NERRIM District with only one rink up defeated Moe to reverse their early season result.
Karren Sheers and her rink of Graeme Wingrove, Gerry Englestad and Kay Cousins defeated Val Griffiths 29-13. Cookie Halligan and Lorraine Horton drew 20-20.
Val Rodgers and her rink of Olive Lang, John Woods and Brian Rodgers was the winning Moe rink defeating Pat Fraser-Aurisch 17-15.

Traralgon (2) travelled to Newborough (2) and Dettie Wylie and her team of Lee Olding, Janis Kirby and Chris Ward defeated Carmel Goss 22-10. Newborough (2) was well served by Heather Mooney and her rink of Wayne Butler, Denise Ryan and Michael Holroyd who defeated May Cross 19-14 and Adrienne Birchall and her rink of Ruth Verhagen, Chris Cunningham and Graham Cocks won 21-16 over Lyn Bloomfield leaving Traralgon (2) to hang on and win.

Cheryl Reynolds and her Morwell Club (2) rink of Steve Kilpatrick, Norma Tyrer and Nobby Noblett had a 19-11 win over Shirley Kolcze, Tara Harle and and her rink of Geoff Unwin, Leanne Broadbent and Barry Flanigan had a 25-12 win over Julie Klein. Betty Burridge and her rink of Duncan Hanlon, Janine McCowan and Brett Harle won 37-12 over Palma McNeill.

Warragul (2) visited Drouin (2) and come home with a satisfying win over their local rivals. Glynis Mitchell and her rink of Dawn and Gary Thomas had a 34-6 win over Mary Andrews. Chris Wilkins and her rink of Ian Belling, Margaret Ratcliffe and Keith Wilkins won 34-8 over Margaret Owens. The lone winning Drouin (2) rink was Lyn Jeffrey and her rink of Clive Newman, Margaret Rhodes and David Tayles winning 30-15 over Gladys Atkinson to rescue two points.

WARRAGUL (3) welcomed Trafalgar (2) with Margaret Keefe and her rink of Ray Headspeath, Marj Evison and Bernie McIntosh winning 32-11 win over Lyn Sephton. Gabrielle Draisma defeated Margaret Moss 22-8 while for Trafalgar (2) Carolyn Fox defeated Pam Vickerman 25-19.

In a close encounter the Newborough (3) welcomed Garfield and despite Ann-Mary Ryan and her rink of Lyn Madden, Albert Van Stekelenburg and Jim Cuthbertson winning 25-12 over Sue Stanfield. It was not enough with Lex Taylor defeating Marcia Evans 22-14 and Maureen Lamport defeating Joy Cadby 23-17 to leave Garfield the winners by one shot.

Yinnar continued their good form with Hilarie Anstey and her team of Robert Hooper, Berry Fox and Murray De La Haye winning 26-14 over Maureen Rooney. Meredith Kennon defeated Barbara Gapper 21-17 and to complete the clean sweep Jennie Harris defeated Steph Davidson 21-17.

Sharlene Draeger and her Morwell (3) rink of Rebecca Matheson, Bob Skinner and Danny McKeown defeated Maureen McMillan 31-10. Jan Moody defeated Dini Hone 26-10 and Jenny Duncan defeated Gwen Price 23-17.

BIG wins were the order of the day with Warragul finding form at home to defeat Trafalgar comprehensively.
Andrew Glover and his rink of Des Stephens, Terry Sullivan and Janette Gallasch had a 23-21 win over Nathan Fraser and his rink of Mary Holdsworth, Graham Hill and Steve Lodge.
Noel Rubenstein and his rink of David Alderman, Brian Kennedy and Paul Simmons won 29-17 over Ian Miles and his rink of Peter Rosenboom, Chris Bortignon and Tim Anderson, Graeme Davis and his rink of Ken Landman, David Ferguson and Peter Gallasch won 27-18 over Tim Fraser and his rink of Col Carmichael, Ian Riley and Ken Capper. David Smith and Paul Dawson drew 21-21 as Trafalgar salvaged a point.

For the visitors, Matt Eccles and his rink of Russell White, Robert Proctor and Hank Metselaar defeated Alan Jones 31-11. Ken White and his team of Elio Megetto, Barry White and Grant Pask won 36-16 to give Longwarry a good win.

MORWELL after successive losses got back of the winning list against Drouin (2). Nathan Cook and his rink of Dick Glossop, Abbas Mehran and Wayne Bishop won 47-11 over Brian Thorpe. Ron Lyfield won 30-16 over Phil Jarred, Ernie King defeated Bruce Andrews 21-16 and Col Jeffrey salvaged two points for Drouin (2) winning 21-20 over David Cook.
Morwell 16-118 defeated Drouin (2) 2-64.
PETER Throup and his rink of Karren Sheers, Tony Thornton and Pat Fraser-Aurisch won 41-10 over Barry Fernance. Ray Watts defeated Trevor James 19-16 and Peter Brooks defeated Dave Currie 24-22 while the lone win for Traralgon (2) was Graham Cross defeating Angus McGillivray 28-12.

John Wasiukiewicz and his rink of Bob Goldie, John Arnold and Fran Clark had a 29-16 over Ben Powell, Joan Goldie defeated Denis Gunn 31-20 and Graeme Cocks defeated Danny Vanzuylen 27-21. The lone Thorpdale winner was Ross Kennedy with a 22-16 win over Gary Ingley.

GARFIELD had a battle with a determined Moe (2), but Anthony Young and his rink of Graeme Burton, Alan White and Shane Oliver laid the foundations for the win with a 31-12 win over John Woods. Stephen Whyte defeated Rex Price 24 – 21 and for Moe, Val Griffiths defeated Nick Hanwood 31-20 and Leigh Dodd defeated Steve Bassed 26-23.

WARRAGUL (2) visited Boolarra and the home side won narrowly by five shots. Darren Napier defeated Bob Currie 27-24, Bob Allen defeated Brent Grigg 19-17, and Terry Parker defeated Ian McCartney 26-22. The lone Warragul (2) winner Bill Clappers won 23-19.

DROUIN (3) welcomed near neighbours and fierce rivals Warragul (3) and had a narrow win with Mary Andrews defeating Roy Hammond 30-16 and Peter Hone defeating Keith Wilkins 29-23. For the visitors, Bill Clarke defeated Margaret Owens 24-21 and Russell Carrick defeated Lloyd Smith 34-21.

YALLOURN North came home from Morwell (3) with a good win. Rob Matthews had a 34-13 victory over Bob D’Brass and Gerry Rosenboom defeated Ian Auld 28-26. The home team was well served by Trevor Curtis defeating Darren Fry 27-17 and Max Duncan defeating George Platschinda 26-19.

TRARALGON (4) with Stuart Hulse and his rink of Maurie Harrison, Barry Roscheller and David Karsky defeated Tony Dawson 38-9 and Col Mayman defeated Wayne Hurst 23-19. Trafalgar (2) had winning rinks with Bruce Giles defeating Ian Wills 28-24 and Mal Clymo defeating Terry Lawrence 24-17.

IN a close encounter Yarragon with three rinks up held on to defeat Newborough (4) by two shots with Jarrod Grigg defeating Alan Luck 28-22, Richard Polmear defeated Charlie Cadby 27-26 and Sam Mazza defeated Ken Bechaz 28-25. The lone winning Newborough (4) rink was Maurie Ludlow who defeated Jason Roberts 24-16.
Yarragon 16-99 defeated Newborough (4) 2-97
MORWELL Club (2) 16-81 had a big win over Traralgon RSL (3) 0-47. The winners for Morwell Club (3) were the rinks of Lisa Arnold, Andrew Shepley and Beryl Noblett.
Garfield (2) 8-63 drew with Morwell (4) 8-63 with Gordon Moxey defeating Julie Klein 28-14 which was matched by Ian Wilson defeating Bob Lamport 28-14 while Don Kinght and Daryl Coleman drew 21-21 leaving the scores all tied.
Neerim District (2) 16-75 defeated Moe (2) 0-50 with Mal Collins, Russell Meehan and Jim Schoeder were the winning skippers.
Churchill 16-57 defeated Traralgon (5) 0-57 with Bill Brown, Shirley Turner and Chris Thomas the winning skippers.
IN Division 6 Trafalgar (4) 10-52 defeated Newborough (5) 0-41, Boolarra (2) 8-47 defeated Longwarry (2) 2-38, Thorpdale (2) 10-64 defeated Yallourn North (2) 0-30, Morwell Club (3) 8-52 defeated Yinnar/Churchill 2-36, Trafalgar (3) 10-16 defeated Traralgon (6) 0-0.
In Division 1, Traralgon RSL needing to get back on the winning list host Drouin. Warragul travels to Newborough, Traralgon hosts Morwell Club and Trafalgar and Moe do battle at Moe.
In Division 2, Traralgon (2) travels to Morwell. Longwarry hosts Newborough (2) in what should be a tense clash. Thorpdale travels to Neerim District and Traralgon RSL (2) travels to Drouin (2) in another interesting clash.
